Bainistíocht na scoile

Bunaíodh Gaelscoil Mhainistir na Corann i 1999 le 17 páiste agus oide amháin. I mbliana tá 336 páiste claraithe le seiseardéag ar an bhfoireann teagaisc. . Múintear an curaclam go léir, seachas Béarla trí Ghaeilge. Mealltar na páistí Gaeilge a labhairt an t-am go léir sa scoil agus ar imeachtaí a bhaineann leis an scoil.

Foireann na Scoile/School Staff

Tá seiseardéag ag múineadh sa scoil chomh maith le cúntóir riachtanais spéisialta agus cúntóir ranga. Tagann Mattie (múinteoir ceoil) agus Shevaun (múinteoir deaslabhraíocht agus dráma)go dtí an scoil freisin chun ceol agus dráma a mhúineadh. Fiona an rúnai atá againn san oifig agus tá si lánsásta labhairt leat as Gaeilge.

I rith na bliana bíonn ranganna ealaíne, spóirt,tráth na gceist,dráma agus ríomhairí ar siúl i ndiaidh scoile.

There are sixteen teachers on the school staffl. We also have a special needs assistant and a classroom assistant.Mattie teaches the children how to play musical instruments each Monday and Shevaun teaches Speech and Drama on Tuesdays.Extra-curricular activities take place at different times of the year..Fiona is our busy secretary in the office and is happy to answer your questions as Gaeilge.

Sport, art classes, and computer classes are run at various times during the school year after school. We have an annual Taispeántas of some form . This is a big occasion for the school and particularly the children who all get a chance to display their talents on stage. In 2005 and 2006 we used the hall in St. Mary's High School for our seó. Two Christmas dramas were presented in the church Christmas 2007 and the infants performed in their own unique style in their classrooms. For Christmas 2008 the senior classes went carol singing in Market Green and the proceeds were donated to local charities.2009 will see Rang 3,4,5 presenting X-Factor Na Nollag sa séipéal.Criostóir is in charge of sporting activities and and with the assistance of Edel enters many of the Sciath na Scol competitions

Is é Niall Ó Neill cathaoireach an Bhoird. Tá seachtar eile ar an mBord leis. Buaileann an Bord le chéile gach ré mi chun cúrsai scoile a phlé. Bionn an-chuid ar siúl ag baill an Bhoird idir na cruinnithe chun a chinntiú go bhfuil páisti na scoile sona,sásta sábhailte sa scoil.

The present Board of Management was elected for a four year term in November 2007.The chairperson is Niall Ó Néill,secretary Mairéad Ui Fhloinn and treasurer Seán O hAonghusa. There are eight members in total, including two parent representatives, two members of school staff, two representatives of the wider community and a nominee of the patron.
